jdmhebek9 04-25-2005, 06:30 PM ps you will not find Le28n for 2500 with tires - Impossible - you can get CE28n's for 2600 with good tires
jdmhebek9 04-25-2005, 06:31 PM WHTSTirex - we need to get together and take pics = )
Jkonquer 04-26-2005, 02:15 AM i know, i've alreay tried everywhere for le28n or ce28n, as of now everything is out of stock, they were saying that mackin is having back order on most of the volks rims.
i would have to wait until june to get the ones that i want.
what do you guys think about this
either...
FN01R-C = 18x8.5 48 offset, with azenis 235/40/18 for 1800 with lug nuts and warranty(from the shp, so i don't have to worry about waiting for my rim to come back or,
CE28n = 18x8.5 40 offseet, with same tire for 2600 without lug nuts and factory warranty.
its around 800-1000 difference, what do you think would be a better choice???
1fastsube 04-26-2005, 09:29 AM If it was me I would wait just a little longer and get the Volks. I would rather keep my stock rims then go with the FN01R-C rims.
jdmhebek9 04-26-2005, 11:17 AM I just mounted my rims - I have about 500 miles on them - selling my rims and tires

I once thought that too, but I got a great deal on the 5zigens so I just bought them since I needed wheels asap. I figured I would just run them for a season, then sell them and get the volks I really wanted but couldn't get my hands on/afford. however, I have found that I really like the fn01r-c's and I will probably just keep them and spend the $1500 I saved on other stuff.
paperchasin 04-26-2005, 03:53 PM ps you will not find Le28n for 2500 with tires - Impossible - you can get CE28n's for 2600 with good tires
i beg to differ...le28's can be obtained for less than 2k new...18x8.5....ce's are even cheaper...but like jkonquer said, its the wait that sucks...ever wonder y "the donn" never sold his used set of le's?? he wanted 2600+ for em... a new set + tires and even pocket some gas money for 2600...
jdmhebek9 04-26-2005, 06:42 PM Paperchasin please let me know where you can get the Gold Le28n's for less than 2k -
18 x 8.5 asap and post your supplier - I'd like to contact them asap
plus I am sure everyone on this forum would like to know as well
"The Donn" was asking for 2600 with out tires and the were pretty used but still in good condition - also for the fact they do not sell the gold ones anymore makes it also worth more - ps also the rims included center caps and volk valve stems - get back to me asap Thanks
Verdugo 04-26-2005, 06:48 PM I'd like to know too...I know CE28Ns are cheaper but brand new LE28Ns for less than $2k? More people would have them I'd think...
jdmhebek9 04-26-2005, 09:38 PM Ce28ns you get get at gruppe S for like 2000 grand shipped in Bronze for sure - I called and they are 18 x 8.5 so that I am sure about but not the Le28's man no way
paperchasin 04-27-2005, 11:22 AM le's are simply $100 more per set than the ce's... www.importhookup.com is the site u guys wanna check out... u guys are not local to the vendor in the wheels section, so tack on shipping charges and wutnot...paying cash helps as well...
