Did the guy sell it? I've had no response from him. Edit- nevermind, I just saw your post in the other thread. I would really like that guy to call me. I have... and idea  Me=Cry-Guy=Ryan Diz 04-25-2005, 11:40 AM Tribeca's are f4st4rrrrr! Actually, I've had a change of heart. I'm going to trade the STi on a Triborka and throw a set of chrome 20's on that biatch, yo. Diz 04-25-2005, 11:43 AM Did you check out that RS? Did the guy sell it? I've had no response from him. I don't think the guy sold it. It was a nice ride. It needs a new oil pump & front cam seals, but that is to be expected. Had my friend decided to buy my STi, I would have bought it from the guy. RK Performance 04-25-2005, 11:51 AM I don't think the guy sold it. It was a nice ride. It needs a new oil pump & front cam seals, but that is to be expected. Had my friend decided to buy my STi, I would have bought it from the guy. Were you going to pay his asking price or make an offer? I was thinking about what to offer him. Specially with the work that needs to be done, I don't think it's worth what he's asking. tasq 04-25-2005, 11:55 AM Sams heavy knee braces sunk de ship!@?!@  :disco: SVC 04-25-2005, 12:03 PM Fuk that, i'm done with those:mad: jibco 04-25-2005, 12:03 PM Sucks to be in the life raft again. Yay, we can all rejoice! Oh, wait, no it's not. My bad. SVC 04-25-2005, 01:12 PM Still took me about 2 hours to fully comprehend the magnitude of the situation. Poor Pirate ship. WRX Harvey 04-25-2005, 02:23 PM Hi guys. Wrx Harvey=me. Just in case you couldn't tell by the smell of Grog. I am still patiently waiting for my td06 20g. I have to cook today and bartend tonight. The cook is broken. It is monday and the bar will be slow, if anyone is interested, come by and I will bring in the PS2 at 9pm. We can have a GT4 meet or watch some Best Motoring. Anyone play God of War yet? I am tempted to buy, but have so many bills right now. I am actually able to make the Goblin Valley camping trip this weekend. But I am going to drag race friday night and then head out from Bandi to the highway. Anyone else want to do the late night caravan? Possible camping in Fruita if the Sandman says so. I also have room for a few extra dirt bikes on my trailer if anyone needs transport. Diz 04-25-2005, 02:31 PM Wow, Matt and Paul are hardcore old school. Thanks, Ian. :D I'm bummed that I'm missing the camping, but I think I need a little more time to heal. I'm going to try to ride some of the Book Cliff trails when I'm in GJ for Mamma's Day. Good luck at Bandi, Harvey. Do you plan on having the 20g on by then? WRX-games 04-25-2005, 02:32 PM Even Mark is teh slow to post and respond to pm's... A very sad day. Worst effort for a NASIOC liferaft thread evAr! Matt Monson 04-25-2005, 02:38 PM Yeah, Thanks Ian. Back in the day, when I joined back in CA, our old meets used to be guys like Bill Knose and Shiv showing up before they had their tuner companies. I have an XXXL Boeri snowboarding helmet that I had to cut out some styrofoam. And an XXXL HJC motorcycle helmet. By straight up measurement, I should just barely fit into some of these L Giros, but my head is a little longer front to back and narrower side to side than I guess the "standard" head that is 63cm around. It inhales through it's ass, and that's...umm...bad... HamFist 04-25-2005, 06:23 PM For Zem: http://www.mrballoonman.com/photos/ah2.jpg Matt Monson 04-25-2005, 06:24 PM Na's suck and turbos blow... MtnManWRX 04-25-2005, 06:25 PM Help. As some of you are already aware (an asbolutely awesome alliteration), I have a head that is slightly larger than most. Ok, so I need a helmet. A mountain biking helmet. I can't find one that fits. I put on a bunch of stuff at REI and nothing fit. Giro stuff, I think. I mean, I just want something cheap, but *nothing* fit. I guess I can get the biggest Giro I could find at REI and cut out some styrofoam, but that really is a pain in the ass. Soooo..... Any ideas? Shave your head... :p jibco 04-25-2005, 06:25 PM Mark, the entry level Bell helmets used to come in a "King Head" size. It was huge. I can't find it.... http://www.bellbikehelmets.com/products.asp Diz 04-25-2005, 06:27 PM Mark - Try a local bike shop and explain the situation with your huge noggin. They should be able to help out. Matt Monson 04-25-2005, 06:27 PM Try putting the helmut on sideways... jibco 04-25-2005, 06:28 PM Here http://www.bhsi.org/bighead.htm Rancid 04-25-2005, 06:29 PM Try a large mixing bowl. Zem 04-25-2005, 06:31 PM Jeff, you rock. However, this is somewhat disturbing...."That includes some with medical conditions that result in very large head sizes, and some who just have naturally large heads." Sigh. Ok, the helmet sideways thing was kinda funny. I was talking to a guy at REI. He had no idea what to do. "I have a big head." "Try on this universal fit."....."sure, why the hell not?....." Moron. WRX-games 04-25-2005, 06:31 PM I am sorry but.... BwwwwwwwwwwwwwAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHA HAHAHAJDLFKJDOIFERHSDLK:FJL:SDKJL:ASD... lol... hahahhahahahahahammm..... ahem. Demian_w 04-25-2005, 06:34 PM Is someone going to be timing or we timing ourselves? Is this still a TSD? Legal speeds or not? I don't think I will be able to go to Moab 1 week before finals but I may be able to do the rally. Pseudo Road Rally. Time yourself, bring your own stopwatch. [I bought two for $5.94 each at Wal-Fart.] I'll supply the direction booklet that includes times, turns, directions, road names and landmarks. Its about four pages. It takes about 87 minutes to do the course at my speeds. The best that I can give you about hitting the times at the various points is that I tried to maintain a steady 10 miles an hour over the speed limit whenever I was not obstructed by other vehicles. :disco: If a person speeds like a crazy dog, they will beat the time that I set up, but, if they are slackers on the gas pedal, their time will be off as well. Pay attention to the speed limit and add 10 mph. WRX-games 04-25-2005, 06:34 PM This last page has made my sides ache. OMG... +1 for shaved head? Matt Monson 04-25-2005, 06:53 PM I have recently gotten in the habit of making my own BBQ sauce. You can play with your ratios, but catsup, mustard, worchestershire sauce and vinegar makes for a good start. Depending on what I am looking for I spice according to desired ethnicity. Sometimes add soy sauce, tabasco, garlic, wasabi, etc. etc... Zem 04-25-2005, 06:59 PM Too small? No. It appears it will be just fine. Nominally REI carries it, so I will stop in and ask them to order it since the tax is less than the shipping by quite a bit. **** about the shipping. Edit: Holy poop.
