View Full Version : Lancer vs. Elise, etc... rolls over - "film at five"
fastwrx 04-25-2005, 03:13 PM Don't know if this one has made these boards. Did a quick search and didn't see it. So, hopefully I won't get a WTLW reply! :o

asquaredrex 04-25-2005, 03:19 PM errr... that is more like welcome to last year... or maybe three years ago... but it's still a good clip.
independent of awful track day etiquette, the guy is (was?) pretty good.
HoRo1 04-25-2005, 03:21 PM ^^^^
You suck at teh search. That is OLD. OLD, OLD.
makofoto 04-25-2005, 04:41 PM So I guess his tire came off the rim ? Happened to me when I was a DUMB kid racing my VW sedan around my home track, Hockenheim Ring. But I would have hoped that by the time one is drifting an EVO, one would know better.
If that was a track day ... you would think he would have been black flagged pretty early for doing a drift exhibition. I would not have shared the track with that person ...
fastwrx 04-25-2005, 06:00 PM OK... I suck at searching!
Yeah... I agree... no way would I be on the track with that guy. I guess they have more lenient rules in France (I'm assuming). Besides the hot-dogging, he made a dangerous pass (for HPDE) on the inside of a turn.
Oh well... WTLY! (I just saw it posted on the Elise Forum.)

silver04rs 04-25-2005, 06:48 PM thanks for posting that. it was a cool video th I hadent seen yet, who cares if its a repost from 3 years ago, most of us havent been on this forum for 3 years
rupertberr 04-25-2005, 07:28 PM Always wanted an EV0 hatchback.
8Complex 04-25-2005, 08:31 PM Heh, you people all WTLY the poster, yet you all still think that the driver is male.
ChrisW 04-25-2005, 08:34 PM Heh, you people all WTLY the poster, yet you all still think that the driver is male.
flicky30 04-25-2005, 09:34 PM YEOWCH!
Yes, horrible horrible horrible track etiquette. She was pretty good a drifting, though. I found it interesting that there were numerous 911's, Elise's, 7's......and only the 1 EVO.
...
...
Leave racing to race tracks. And I guess we can now say: "Leave drifting to drifting events."
Phil Jr. 04-25-2005, 09:56 PM I believe she was the daughter of the guy who owned the track and something about that car being one they used to teach people on. I think its tires were about dead. The brakes probabaly faded or something. They dont look like normal evo brakes.
MattSTi 04-25-2005, 10:21 PM Good lord, absolutely no track manners. I would have flipped out if someone tried pass/drift inside me on a corner like the evo did to the elise.

Phil Jr. 04-25-2005, 11:01 PM imagine if you owned an Evo...
Skibum4444 04-26-2005, 03:05 AM man I want a roll cage
bknblk 04-26-2005, 05:10 PM Thoughts that come to mind...
"Don't let rally drivers on your wet tarmac" :)
"So that's what "wad it up" means" :)
"I think Mitsu should warranty it" :)
" I'd be pissed that the John Deere guy scratched my rear bumper cover with that chain" :)
and...."It'll buff out" :disco:
The funny thing is I know I'm pointless.
trojan9x 04-26-2005, 08:40 PM How's about instan't MR!
Beaverboy 04-27-2005, 12:38 PM Hadn't seen that before.. and yes, that woman got what was coming to her.
AUTOwrXER 04-28-2005, 11:54 AM Yeah... I agree... no way would I be on the track with that guy. I guess they have more lenient rules in France (I'm assuming). Besides the hot-dogging, he made a dangerous pass (for HPDE) on the inside of a turn.
Lenient rules for body odor = yes
Lenient rules for driving etiquette = no. Bad driving is bad driving no matter where you are.
francophile 04-28-2005, 01:54 PM Unfortunately the video has gone to the Great 404 In the Sky.
