A rally car mechanic told me once that he always fills his rally car's engine and gear box oil, a bit over the full mark.
Now i am in this dilemma with my freind, he says its always best to fill the oil to just a bit below the full mark.

Fill it to the specs in the owners manual, cant go wrong with that. But if you go a little more or less you will be fine, just dont overfill it TOO much or under TOO little

Me personally, I like to get a reading that is very close to the full marker on the dipstick.

More or less oil (within reason) will help your car 0%.
