NGK BKR7E gap to 0.028. They are copper - best conductivity but worst lifespan. People say change em every 3k miles...I didn't change mine for much longer. When you do an oil change, check the gap. If its at or above 0.032 chuck em.

Do not get the BKR7E-11s

Question... since they come pregapped at .028... what do you do.. just press them down against something or is there a tool to decrease the gap?

there is a tool, usually at the counter where you check out at the parts store

to INCREASE the gap get the 99 cent tool at the front counter of any VIP/autozone what ever.

Flat surfaces and light tapping is the best tool for DECREASING the gap ;)

Use a WIRE spark plug tool to check/correct your gap. Those 99 cent round doo-hickies put a gansta lean on your electrode. The $1.29 wire ones create a parallel surface.
