I was in Switzerland and France for almost two weeks, and I had some exciting car moments, I guess. :) The high parts were on the Cote d'Azur, where they have these awesome twisty cliff-side drives that I really really wanted to have my Impreza for. We went to Monte Carlo and drove the F1 circuit, and then I walked along part of it (the downhill 180s before the tunnel). It was really exciting to see the course and all the tire marks on the ground.

In Cannes there was a kickass new-style WRX that had the factory lip, side and rear kit, plus a roof scoop and an awesome headlight conversion. I think it's the one here:

So what other cool cars have you seen? I know there's tons of Peugeot in France.

Yeah, I just got back as well. three weeks in Spain, and 1 week in Switzerland. Didn't see too many cool cars in Spain, a few WRX's and such, but not too frequent. Switzerland on the other hand had tons of sick cars. Everyday I saw a different Lancer or WRX or STi or STi RA. The majority of them had significant mods and whatnot. There are TONS of Peugeots all over europe, 106s, 206s, 307s. They are badass cars too. It was a great vacation needless to say.

Ooh, I forgot, I also picked up the second issue of "Sub" magazine, the all-Subaru publication! It's in french, so I get a headache if I try to read it for too long, but it's great to see. I would have bought more issues but I couldn't find any.

Yeah, I got two rally mags in Spanish and a great coffee table book that covers the whole 2000 season. I'm even in the book, we went to the acropolis rally last summer and one of the pics in the book shows my girlfriend and myself. It was pretty cool.

Well, having lived in Spain, I can tell you that you may not see that many cool cars unless you take the B or C roads. They stay away from the Autopista.

Spain is also nuts for motorcycles. Less concentration on cars (You can ride a bike all year round in Spain, unlike switzerland).
