I just got a new Sparco seat and adjustable side mounts (the ones that you can adjust up+back and down+forward). I ordered them from Primm Motorsports. Since, I didn't really want to send them all the way to Rallispec, I have tried to install them myself. I want to have a setup where the least amount of damage was done to any stock parts. I also wanted to be able to slide the seat forwards and backwards.

First I unbolted the stock seat from my 2000 impreza rs. Then I removed the sliders from the seat. After doing some research, I found that most people created all kinds of special adapters by welding the sliders to a custom base. The seat was then bolted/welded to the custom base. This was not needed. Actually the side mounts fit on the left slider by using 2 bolts. The problem is that the right side is not flat like the left slider.

Has anyone solved this problem?

Anyone have recommendations or photos of your setup?
