I see so many posts about WRX mishaps. Single car accidents are the worst.
What is wrong ?
I do not recall raeding in any newspaper or magazine that WRX is similar to infamous Eploder (oops Explorer). It sits quite high above the ground for sports car but not much.
None of the magazines I read mentions anything about poor handling of WRX.

What is wrong with this picture ?

I have bad feeling that the drivers are to blame and it might be interesting to see wheather WRX would live long enough till MY 2002 and Evo would come.

What enthusiasts need now is greedy lawyer and lawsuit against Subaru/Bridgestone.

Sorry but the picture looks grimmer with each WRX rolling over (side to side or end to end).

Oh and insurance will make WRX quite expensive. Could insurer refuse to insure the car because of its model ?

PS Still hoping that time will come and I will buy one, in the future.

It all has to do with the drivers who think they are Richard Burns on the public roads...

Pushing any car on public roads is stupid, esp trying to do a drift or handbrake turn, whatever.

I wont be surprised if the insurance rates for the wrx goes up next year as there arent a whole lot of wrx and there are quite a few accidents.

Are there really a higher percentage of WRX wrecks (sorry) than other cars in roughly the same performance/price category (yeah, I know - as IF there WERE any)? Any statistics available yet?

My thought on this, and perhaps it's just a hopeful one is that the accidents are like the CEL issues we saw. YAH we hear a LOT about them but how many do we NOT hear about?! What I am saying is the squeeky wheel always gets the attention. For every unsatisified customer/CEL issue WRX/accident there are at least 100 maybe 1000 others without any problems?

Maybe I am just hoping becuase I don't want the insurance rates to go up but does anyone possibly know the percentage of "total wrecks" mustangs incur within a year?
