this has been asked sooooo many times. I just answered this question myself like 1 day ago. Please SEARCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:-)
PS the answer to your question is that i don't think you can shift hard without making the noise. Maybe you can try to pause in between shifts.
ie. clutch in...1,2,3 shift, clutch out, get on the gas
That's the only thing i can think of really.

A more effective way to reduce the problem is to hold the RPM's constant for a moment to unload the drive train. Not long, just a moment.
Read SPD's "how to shift"
http://www.spdusa.com/shifting.htm
Disengaging the clutch, with the drive line loaded, then waiting to reengage it will not fix the problem.
