I am thinking about getting some of the LHD prodrive projector lights. I have morettes now on my 02 wrx wagon. Will they be any better than the morettes? I have not been completely satisfied with the beam pattern. It seems when I move the beam up a bit to see down the road far enough I start getting flashed by oncoming traffic. Does anyone know if they use the same bulbs? I would like to be able to switch my HID kit over to the prodrives if I get them

Prodrives are H7, same as the Morettes, and also have the same E-code light pattern so I don't think you would find the results with them to be much different than with the Morettes. You have to be very careful when aiming E-code lights, you should aim them against a wall using the proper specs rather than just raising them until you can see as far as you want. Also the projectors should be aligned so that the flat part of the beam pattern is horizontal, if it's not and the pattern makes somewhat of a "V" shape the slight rise to the left can bother oncoming traffic especially if you have the lights aimed too high. This can be an issue with both Morettes and Prodrives.
And, unless you have a line on a used set, Prodrives are no longer available new in the US AFAIK.
