I just did the foglight (ScoobyMods (http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1022))mod on my 04 WRX and it worked great at first but the next day my parking light won't turn on... which mean my fogs doesn't work anymore, and my gauge cluster doesn't light up either.

has anyone ran into this before and found the solution?

I used a (blue) 16 gauge wire to splice the orange wire (fuse box) and connect the other end of the blue wire to the RG wire (relay side). Would it be the size of the wire and it blew my parking lights control?

The weird thing is that I have remote start and my parking light and my fog lights would come on until i de-activate the remote start... so I guess my parking lights on/off switch (on top of steering column and on turn signal) are shot or the fuse is burn...

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP...

Did you do the second mod at the bottom of the above link (ScoobyMods (http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1022))?

Also, in the factory setup, there is a diode between the fog light
switch and the ground path through the lighting switch. I still
haven't figured out what this diode does (anybody?), but it
is left out of all the fog light mods I've read.

Are you using the factory fog lamp relay ?

You blew the fuse. Also when I did the mod the first time I forget to cut the one wire (which is listed in the instructions).

yah, i rechecked all the fuses again and found out it was a 20v fuse in the engine bay that i blew. haha... don't i feel stupid

so let me get this right... heres what i did...right or wrong??????

-orange wire is tap ( do i cut this off like Red/green? )
-red/green is connected to new wire from orange. (tape off back of wire to dash, tape off)
-cut yellow/blue wire at back of switch and ground it.

thats it?????

what about the dioed??? 1st time i seen that in a foglight mod insturctions. ive looked on ScoobyMods, clubWRX, and everything that came up on the google search.
