Hey everyone,

Looking for a big, bright, responsive EGT warning light what will light up at a preprogammed EGT setting. Can be stand alone or tapped into a EGT gauge. Any one know of a product like that? I want to set it at 1300 degrees and when ever it gets there it lights up, or beeps something more noticable then the gauge.

This is for a snowmobile BTW where EGT's bounce up and down like a yo yo and over 120 mph you can't be watching a gauge. Thanks!

it's still a work in progress for me, but i got meaningful voltage output from the IC chip + a type k thermocouple (what most egt probes use).

Wow nice work! I had about 2 years of EE so I understand most of that, I'l have to search around for a chip that will operate down to -20 C vs the 25 that you have picked out. Thanks!
