Anyone know anything about the Red 03 EVO at Morrison's on Dimond/Old Seward?

I saw it there but i didn't get a chance to look at it. BUt there is a silver one over at stanley motors. It's an '03 and it only has like 15000 miles. It doesn't look like he/she modded it up or anything. It looks really clean. They want too much though. $27,900. crazy

stanley mitsubishi is across from the saturn dealership. But why would you buy a 2 year old evo when you can buy a new one for $31000. You just gotta know how to buy a car to get that price.

I think it is now sold. I just went to EERO over lunch and it pulled in RIGHT before me (i.e. I parked next to it) and it had a temp tag.

Damn 32 grand for a brand new EVO, that kills the price of Sam's lol. I would be biting my lip right now if I saw one for that price.

MSRP on an Evo VIII (not an RS, which is cheaper, or an MR, which is more expensive) is $30,699 without options or destination charge.

Interesting, the EVOIII that they had there was 34 grand without HIDS, leather seats, and the big ass sound system. Sam's car was a bit more than that with all the options. Meh, maybe one of these days i'll pick one up. I'd like to get one before the 2007's come out. I would rock an STi and EVO :D

A guy at my work has 2 evos, both red, one is bone stock and the other is heavily modded or so he says with a carbon fiber hood, sounds real nice and looks super hot. I like those cars a lot....someday

psylas, the Evo is less forgiving when it becomes a daily driver. I just got used to it :p.

I need to get my Accord back and make it my daily driver, now thats a cadillac comfort ride compared to the evo. Comparing apples to mangoes!

there is a stock red evo in my parking lot every night, and a modded red evo w/ carbon hood two blocks away. I've seen them together once at the other guys place.

The guy with the red one and the Carbon Fiber hood ran worse times than me and Sam, surprisingly he has more mods than Sam and definately more than me lol. I was expecting him to run a high 12, but he was pushing 13.5's, 13.7's. Maybe it was just a bad day, should've hit a lot more than that, I think we was pretty furstrated with his times, I know I would be.

They are nice cars, I had the pleasure of detailing MVM's the other night. So hot and so agressive, I love them. Anyone ever need a detail just let me know, I enjoy doing it and I love making a car look brand new again =).

The Evo w/ the carbon fiber hood is my friend Thavone. He's a cool guy, he's just different...I've known him for a long time and he's just different, but cool. :) He told me about his times, we all know he can do better and it was his first time at the track and first time launching an EVO, and we all know it 'can' be difficult.

Sam yes we know u can drive ur EVO and we know you are fast and it was the first time u took ur EVO out there ;)

Wes how much for a detail? Do u do engine bay as well as seat cleaning?

Thanks, Justin.

Hey Wes, do you guys clean the engine bay or just in the cabin?

Wes_FSTGDB
06-19-2005, 05:16 AM
Yes, we can clean the engine, it's actually pretty easy and only takes about 15 minutes. We can do seat cleaning as well. Either vaccuming or we can shampoo them.

-Wes

P.S. Justin, if you wanted a full interior detail including a full shampoo of the carpets and seats I would do it for 50 bucks, normally it would be 90.00. If you didn't want to shampoo the carpets or seats I would do everything else for free.

Wow, sounds like a bargain...if anything just the engine bay.

Thanks Wes...I know where to find you.

I have no doubt in my mind that he is a cool guy... but I cant stand it when ppl start to make up things to justify a time they ran or something ie. my clutch is broken, my nitrous bottle isnt filled, or my car is broken even though its running fine. even though it was my first time out with the evo, I do know how to drive awd just as good as anyone on here from the years I owned a wrx. so maybe he doesnt know how to drive it as well as I do. but to say your ride is stock when you could see an exhaust. please  he even started to say he had mod's but then caught himself and started to say he didnt have mod's. hmmmm......fishy..... but whatever I havent seen him run yet this year. I do hope he gets the driving down so we can run  with his current mod's or what I have heard about he should be able to beat me. Its like what min's license plate said...NOXQUS!!!

p.s me and you still have to give it a whirl aswell Justin :D

Yeah I too don't like it when people make excuses. Like when people race you and they have a stock turbo'd wrx and you have an upgraded one and you win, but they are like "oh well I just have a stock turbo or you have more stuff than me"...blah blah blah. Why did you race me in the first place then??? (not refering to anyone in general).

Well, I raced him and we did it twice, he missed a gear so of course I slowed down then we did it again and he was a car length behind me around 120 ish and he was not pullin on me neither was I pullin away. He told me all he has is a turboback and as far as I could tell that's all I saw.

Sam, we definatley have to go sometime...but come over and help me find my FMIC leak, so there will be, "NOXQUS" I don't think it's a big leak, cause I boost fine, but I get this annoying, yet "awesome" sounding swirl sound, sort of like a supercharger spoolin sound

Was that you going to Min's house like Sat or Sun in the evening?

Justin
