EXPLICIT 06-13-2005, 03:01 AM Update on my wagon.
More dyno time yesterday morning netted 610.5hpatw. 2.1bar, VP109 unleaded.
Drives great. Competed in a motorkhana with it yesterday in the pouring rain.
Was an 'interesting' drive to say the least.
will post up dyno plot once i have it.

Billy 06-13-2005, 03:18 AM Please do. It would be nice to see.
Do you get near instant throttle response with the ALS turned on?
EXPLICIT 06-13-2005, 04:42 AM Can't comment on the ALS as i havent used it lately. Once i have a consistant platform running i will do some testing with ALS to see the gains. Throttle response thus far has been very good.

I've now got the dyno sheet in my hand. 610.5 was a PS figure, converted to HP brings it to 602.1hpatw. One of the headers was leaking somewhat which slowed spool time but only by 500rpm.
railguy 06-14-2005, 12:51 AM Is that with anti-lag?
Homemade WRX 06-14-2005, 01:33 AM Is that with anti-lag?
I'm going to have to say no...otherwise that is a very poor anti-lag tune
boardertj 06-14-2005, 01:40 AM ^^ ya i agree. it would be more like a add-lag system
EXPLICIT 06-14-2005, 01:42 AM Guys anti-lag has nothing to do with the power curve. Its purely used in a motorsport environment. It wouldnt change the power/boost/torque curve at all.

good power!
Boostfiend04STI 06-14-2005, 02:19 AM Nice job, way to put down the power.
InfamousDX 06-14-2005, 03:01 AM lol @ you guys talking about anti lag on a dyno plot. Anyway... great power, makes for a nice drag monster and with the ALS, a great cone killer too I'm sure. Congrats!
EXPLICIT 06-14-2005, 03:15 AM Did a motorkhana on the weekend and besides the fact that traction on power in the wet was a joke, was very competitive and responsive. Very happy with the driveability vs power output thus far. In perspective with similar suspension and drivetrain with 300hpatw(old setup vf22 and bolt ons), this setup is much more responsive and drives alot nicer off boost....sure the boost threshold is higher in the rpm range due to turbo size but when in competition is never noticed. Driving to and from the event also showed very nice road manners.
veightkiller 06-14-2005, 03:25 AM post some engine shots of your wagon..sounds mean!

JennyLind 06-14-2005, 01:07 PM Interesting to see the results.
MrMcCrackin 06-14-2005, 02:22 PM 1000rpm usable power? NICE!
west_minist 06-14-2005, 02:40 PM Great job.
1000rpm usable power? NICE!
if u have a look buddy... hes making 350whp at 5000rpm and this engine can rev out to 8500rpm...
Considering he runs antilag etc etc... i think that its a great package..
EXPLICIT 06-15-2005, 01:32 AM max power vs useable power are two different things. Having not used ALS as yet, the setup is very driveable indeed.
snowman4us 06-15-2005, 01:35 AM looks good. to bad that thing doesnt spool for a while...any 1/4 mile times?
Wombat North 06-15-2005, 01:48 AM Being as this is an Aussie low reading dyno it would be far to assume this is closer to 700whp on US dyno's. ;)
