Can you describe it to me?

Also how is the track drainage?

I have a friend doing the DAQ job for an amatuer Atlantic team so any setup tips for a wet Portland would be appreciated..or wet setup for a Formula car in general...

Post this in the NW region forum. I personally haven't been on the track in the wet, so I can't give any pointers.

I haven't driven it in the wet... but here's what I know:

Festival Curves (chicane, whatever) tend to have a puddle or stream between the apex of 1 and the apex of 2. This is the drainage of the huge concrete apron on the inside of 2.

Water tends to puddle or run across the track in 7 and 8... just before the back straight. I'd also imagine that the Porsche bump collects water, but I haven't heard people talking about that... because they drive around that anyway.

Also from what I've heard... Ice racing is good practice for PIR in the wet...

Yeah... I'd guess the surface changes at the exit of 3 and the exit of 12 are more than a little exciting in the wet. My personal experience is that its not too bad in the "damp." But that was in my Scooby, not my S2000.

Rose Cup races this last weekend were wet. At least some of the races. You might question the SCCA Club racers that were there last weekend.
