Anyone had this done yet? or done it themselves? Just wondering what's invovled, as I hate to make an appointment to drop my car for half a day when its a 10-minute fix.

PS - my seat is wobbly, so i assume this bolt is loose, but I haven't looked at it yet.

Hmm, at least there is a recall for you guys.

Us Audi guys have a fix for the rocking seat. Its called Duct tape. (no kidding)

I'm sure the guys in FBX would have a way to make an appointment for you to "WAIT" for the car while they do the quick recall.

the bolt in question is the front left(near the gas door release) one that bolts the rail to the seat bottom. so the bolt is upside down, and 12mm. It can be accessed by sliding the seat all the way foreward. the recall replaces the bolt with a similar bolt, but it has loctite on it. Out of 30+ that I have done, only one loose one so far. you could check/tighten it on your own for peace of mind until you can get in.

this only applies to 02-03 seats.
