Speedmonkee Performance is an authorized distributor for all IHI Turbo products sold in the USA. This is for informational purposes only.

As you may or may not be aware, IHI recently raised its prices worldwide in a move from Corporate HQ in Japan to reestablish the turbo aftermarket.

We'd like to share with everyone new pricing from corporate regarding the IHI line of turbos that suit the WRX and STI world.

Please note that these are list prices a dealer could charge and are not reflective of NASIOC actual vendor pricing. We are merely presenting the list price for your information.

5T-631 RHF5B VF34 $2400.00 * (approximate price)
5T-630 RHF55 VF30 $2094.00
5T-629 RHF5HB VF22 $2133.00

Note: There is no data on any other VF series at this time.

Thanks,

Jeremy

No Joke. Those are the prices you will see at the dealer if you had a JDM/EDM STI car.

If only I had invested the time and money into hoarding IHI turbos I could be rich now...

They need to move the decimal point over to the left one notch.

I can list some $2000 turbos that aren't worth $2000. When I think of a $2000 IHI turbo, I get ill. :(

They know it too. Needless to say - there are not a lot of happy people - including vendors & IHI USA.

I'm glad I bought my VF34 a few months ago. I'd never pay that much for this turbo.

One thing to keep in mind - those are just list prices. Not everyone charges list. Even before the recent price increase, the lists were still high. (VF34 was over $1599 list - but no one really paid that!) Market drives pricing - and IHI will come to their sense when they find out where the market is.

^ I just realized that you guys are located in S.D. I sent you an email today...scratch any IHI turbos off of the list if I had any on it :)

I just got word from a source. Subaru is applying pressure on IHI. Especially on the highly popular VF34.

So, there is light from the end of the tunnel. Hold on and let's see where this is going!
