Anybody been to Subaru Australia's site lately?

They seem to have a twin turbo Liberty (aka Legacy) for sale to the Aussies. I has 255 HP and is going for $55,000 AUS, that is $28,500 US or $43,600 CDN.

It has the McIntosh stereo from the VDC Outback as well!

I wonder when it is coming here?

From the replies you have been getting from Subaru America it sounds like it might be coming, just not really soon.

I didn't see any pictures, just a press release. Or is it just identical to the Japanese B4 in terms of looks and interior? If there are pics of the Aussie version, could someone post a link so stupid me can have a look?

Wow, I haven't sent a letter to SOA lately about a performance legacy but you better be sure I am now. If they brought it to Ausie land than surely they can get a detuned version here. I would be the first one to the dealership to beat there door down to get one.

speaking of "Liberty", I wonder how Jeep is going
to market their new SUV in Australia,considering they've ripped-off Subaru's brand down there.
