LogMapper is a UTEC log processor. Given a raw UTEC (or UTEC + Tuner) log it can produce an overall view of how your tuning maps are performing. It does this by gathering all log entries that correspond to a particular UTEC map loadsite and for each loadsite it averages them together. Then, these averages are placed in a chart that is very similar to a UTEC map, a grid of RPM vs. load percentages. LogMapper is comprised of a "LogMap", a "TargetMap" and "Cell Source Windows". Each serves to provide a different view of your log data to help you meet your tuning goals. LogMapper currently is capable of automatically identifying and mapping UTEC logs for the Impreza WRX and Impreza WRX STi, with or without a TXS Tuner.
- Differences between LogMapper versions 1.x and 2.0:
* Addition of the "Cell Source Window", showing the data that makes up the LogMapper averages
* Inclusion of the old "Afr Targetor" into LogMapper as the "TargetMap"
* Capability to have your own AFR targets for the TargetMap
* Capability to specify your own TargetMap ("AfrTargetor") AFR delta thresholds for changing rich/lean cell colors.
* Built-in documentation
* Automatic log type detection - no more need to specify the log type
* Optional Configuration file to set a default font size and AFR targets filename
* More intelligent data processing to weed out unwanted logging anomolies that occur at specific events, such as flat-foot shifting, very quick throttle changes, etc.
* More stringent log reading to better identify corrupted data
* Capability to change the font within the map views
* A "tab" structure to the LogMapper interface for easier use of new features
Beta testers who have seen most of this already will hopefully be pleased to see the additions of the capability to change the AFR delta threshold and that lean/rich TargetMap cell backgrounds are now colored instead of just the delta numbers changing color.
