I'm tuning my car and trying to figure out how much timing I should be running? Right now I have about 15 degrees at peak tq and 1.3 bar and the car doesnt seem like its all that great. Any suggestions.

BTW I have a 04 STi w/ catless TBE and Utec as my only power mods

Most people tune fuel first, then worry about timing. Do you have an EGT gauge? If so, you can do some fuel tuning off of that, but you're better off using a wide-band.

I'm using a LM-1. I tried 17.5 degrees of timing from 2750-3750rpm and slowly tapering up to 23 degrees at 7500 but I was getting knock even though I was about 10:1 AF. I'm trying to figure out what is a good amount of timing to run w/ a stock turbo and intercooler.

I don't know much about utech but here is my timing map from my ej257 with ver3 sti heads, td06/garret hybrid and a bunch of other stuff.

The ecu is an autronic sm4. the fuel is bp 96 witch would be some were around 91-92 of your gas. im runing 1.2bar and around 11-11.2:1.

Please don't take these numbers as being right as they may work on my car and not on yours.
