So, does the Atlantic Blue Pearl Tribeca truly exist or what? Not a single dealership in Southern California has had them in yet. Its always the same... white, silver, gold, puke-green (which is too similar to both the silver and gold), and occasionally black. Where is the ABP Tribeca, and come to think of it, where is the red one as well? It seems weird all that seems to be showing up are mostly the dull neutrals... :(

Also, has anyone seen one with the optional chrome grille and wheels yet? All I've seen is that one low-res image and can't get a good feel for it.

I have yet to see one either. It's the most attractive - from what I've seen in pictures. ;)

we have 1 ABP 7 pass. in stock, and it is by far the best looking Tribeca IMO...
supposedly, Subaru said that the chrome package added too much of a cost from a factory option, and is not going to offer it.

Can you post a pic of it?

I have driven one a couple of weeks ago, here in the Albany, NY area.
Yes, Virginia, they do exist!
Keep it under 90, folks!

I got the gray perforated leather interior...sweet! I had beige in the last two Subies, and decided I needed a change (not to mention most everything in my house is beige!). No one here had one or any hopes of getting one soon, so I drove 200 miles round-trip to get it, and then a couple days later two local dealers each got one just like it. I enjoyed the drive very much, though! It's gorgeous and very sporty-looking.

PS: got the Nav, too, although I wasn't going to get it at first. It's a COOL toy :-)

I'm totally envious! I plan on a fully loaded ABP also with the grey leather interior. Theclock is ticking on my '03 LL Bean OB's extended warranty (at 86,000 miles currently).

Hey, now that you have one of these rare species in captivity, could you take some pics of it and post them?

Damn, I'm totally envious right now... :(

Dear HB dad

Timmons Subaru of Long Beach had an atlantic blue one their lot about 1 month ago. Was sitting on a display ramp. Not sure if its still there. Color looked really conservative.

Dear HB dad

I drove by there two night ago on a whim on my way home from work. They only had the usuals, and the one on a ramp was a black one (which too looks nice). Thanks for the info though.

Apparantly, Irvine Subaru has one now (albeit with the tan interior... I want the grey). I will probably drive down and see it this weekend if it is still there and say hi to Desi and the gang.

Would this be the sought-after color?

What about special ordering one? Should only take about 1 month, correct?
