Need help guys. Bought a used tuner and had a bung installed and the O2. I hooked the utec upto the tuner and the O2and knock sensor harness upto the tuner as well. I currently do not have the knock sensor hooked up cause i didn't have time to pull my TMIC. the red and white wires that are coming from the harness are hooked up to the same wires that the utec is hooked upto for power. Problem is that the utec powers up when i turn on the car, but the tuna does not. Any suggestions? I need to be able to drive this and don't want to drive it without the O2 fired up.

EDIT: opened the chrome harness casing that plugs into the back of the tuner and found this... possible cause for it not powering up?

That unconnected wire is just the cable shield. I doubt that is your problem. Is the shield connected to something at the other end?

That is just a shield in the harness. If you follow that wire the other end of the shield is not hooked to anything. You don't want the tuner and the Utec to power up at the same time.

the tuner doesn't even power up...but the utec does. suggestions to hooking up the tuner?? and other troubleshooting? thanks guys.

check fuses. there is, from what i understand, an on-pcb fuse inside the tuner. check that too. also verify that you have clean power and ground. do not connect the tuner and utec at this point in troubleshooting.
