If you guys ever have a problem ... SOA is the one to call. A dealer here was giving me hell cuz of my modified BOV. They said that it was the source of my CEL, and that I had performed a major modification to the car. While I got away from the dealer's service charge after arguing with like 6 technicians... and the technician foreman. The dealer wrote down that I had voided my warranty. This scared me cause I thought that it was, but afte I spoke with SOA, the reassured me that the dealer cannot do that. the guy told me that do not worry about that dealer... he said they were probably just anal about it, and that the mod was be found to be directly linked to the problem. anyways conclusion: SOA = nice people. The number is 1-800-782-2783

It doesn't sound like SOA solved your problem about the CEL not being related to your BOV mod, I don't get why you're so happy. So SOA are nice, they are still saying the CEL is your fault right? Am I missing something?

As noted in his post in Factory Turbo Powertrain and WRX Non-Technical, the CEL's are his fault.
All three codes he reports would come about becaue of his BOV mod.
I'm confused as well why you are so happy.

Also Subaru.com
The one company you can email!
Also the one company that takes the time to email you back unlike some other Manufacteur sites. I won't point fingers.

Well.... actually how can you be so certain why the BOV is my fault. Many people have BOV's ... why haven't they had any problems yet. We can only specualte that it might be the source of the problem. I am happy that SOA has told me that my warranty is not voided.
