View Full Version : Brake Dust Galore ! boostin04 07-03-2005, 01:28 PM Ive washed my STI 3 times since i got it last week and those damn Brembos make cleaning brake dust a living hell...dont get me wrong, im no complaning about the brakes,theyre amazing, but what the heck do u guys do to clean off all that dust. Me, I just use car wash soap and a sponge once a week. Protecting your wheels with WheelWax, Klasse or Rejex also helps to keep some of the brake dust from sticking, making cleanup a bit easier. WRX 2NV 07-03-2005, 09:33 PM You might try waxing your rims so the brake dust won't stick to the rim but rather the wax - it should make it easier to remove. Gfunk720 07-03-2005, 11:54 PM Yeah, get some poorboys wheel sealer and put 2-3 coats on after polishing your rims I havent had to do anything but wash mine with my regular car wash/sponge and they are still looking perfect.
