What's the fastest 2.5 RS and WRX in this forum?
What do you run quarter mile?
Mods?

I ran a 16.3 my first time at the strip(Great Lakes). I only have a weapon R dragon intake, UR racing pulley, Red Line Oil(If that makes a difference), 100 Octane fuel, and all my hood vents open. Oh ya it's a MY01 RS :D

uhh did you start in 2nd gear? haha just kidding, I ran a 15.7 stock at sears point with 2300 miles on the clock, now I have a short shifter, Ganzflow, borla, and stromung full stainless dual tip, andvanced the timing, and hit 15.32, not bad, but feels so slow comparied to the ITR or CBR :-)

I'm going to hit the track a week from this weekend to see how I'll do. I'm going to fill her up with premium, running half a tank or 1/4 or so. I have a MY00 5-speed with kartboy shifter and bushings, ganzflow intake with K&N, hollowed out airbox, UD Racing Pulley and I run synthetic (if that makes a difference). I am extremely surprised about my car so I am hoping it'll hit 15.5 or thereabouts. I've raced a friend with a 1999 VR6 automatic Jetta which I beat flatout and another friend who has a 5-speed 2000 Prelude Type-SH who I beat twice. He isn't the best driver though, however, I beat him by enough to show that it wasn't just the driver. Anyhow, only time, and gas, will tell. Wish me luck-

Ya, I totally suck at shifting the 16.3 will go down eventually. As a positive note I ran against a Mustang GT (with a V8) and he only beat me by 4.8 tenths of a second. The run was 16.627 VS 16.147, man that's a slow V8.

I think you mean .48 seconds

4.8 would make you just about the worst shifter.:eek:

any quick turbo 2.5s or WRXs with turbo upgrades?
i raced a turbo'd RS with a stage 2 turbo once.
it was pretty fast, runs 13.7, but i still beat it (i got a 3000GT VR-4 with basic mods)
i'm just curious to see if there are any ones just like it(or hopefully, better:D )

As I'm sure everyone else will tell you:
Imprezer's car runs 12.8.
Do a search on "whoop-ass" and I'm sure you'll find more info. ;)

The fastest RS was Adam Blooms 1999 Turbo RS. It ran a 12.6 (I know it recently ran an 11.98 but with a new engine)
The fastest WRX to date is Imprezer's, as stated above, which ran a 12.8
THAT RECORD WILL FALL TO THE WRATH OF IMPREZIV SOON...

It's hard to tell because we don't always hear about every car.

is for a MPEG of MotorWeek that shows the 0-60 and 1/4 mile for a 22b and the 2.5 RX. Check out the front mount intercoooler on the RX :cool: . Does anyone know where to find the specs for the RX. That would be a good starting point to base turbo's for the RS off of.

In what form what Adam's impreza when he ran 12.8? Stage II Turbo... what else?

I thought that tony rigoli down under had the fastest wrx with a blazing 10.2 second run.

Well he said on the forum, but IIRC Tony may have posted here once. Let's not forget Byron's mythicallly fast Impreza, though it's neither a 2.5RS or WRX.
