i am installing neons underneath the seats of my 05 impreza but i am having a probem with the power. what i did was take the center console apart and tapped into the wire for the cigeratte lighter. the neons worked but then when i went to install the switch everything screwd up and i am no longer getting power. does anyone know what could be wrong?

maybe the switch is defective? check it with a multimeter. Also - if the switch isn't rated for the current you are pushing through it, you could have fried the switch.

i blew the 20a cigarette lighter fuse. but every thing is now working great.
