Hey Guys and Gals,

I just got a triple gague set up, (boost, egt, and a/f) and I could really use some advice from some experienced members. Where is the best place to tap the egt probe into the manifold for the most accurate egt readings? Also, where should I tap the probe for the air/fuel gague? Does anyone have any helpful tips for where the easiest place to get through the firewall is? Any helpful hints in general for installing gagues (mistakes you have made that you wish you avoided, things you could have done that would have made the install less "painful", ect.) I really appreciate the help, as I haven't found anything specifically addressing these issues in this forum. I can't wait to finally have way to see how my car is running... and a little bling too.

Ben

Hm, just a quick look down in this forum will lead you to a discussion of where to put the EGT-

As for the A/F, if you have a "tap-in" type of gauge you may not want to bother as these do not give accurate readings. You need one with a separate wideband sensor installed in the manifold.

Sorry, guess I'm still sort of a search noob. Thanks for the help.
