Like the topic states, control unit is hooked up to the clock harness ... any way to avoid the double sweep?

Yea it doesn't bother some people but im a perfectionist and it pisses me off :D .

If anyone knows a fix with this wired to the clock harness let me know, if not ... will I have to go to the ignition harness? I don't really wanna mess with that but If I have to I will ... or are there other places I can wire this stuff?

Suren

I wired mine into my turbo timer harness, which is connected to the ignition. It is very easy to do, just puts you in an akward position on your back to wire it. And what do you mean by double sweep?

Sweeps once before you crank it, and then sweeps again once you start the engine ... Because the clock and other accessories go off once you crank the car sothats why it does it. I wanted to know which fuse i should wire the ignition and illumination wires of the control unit so it only sweeps once when the gauge cluster sweeps

If you wire it into the ignition, you will only get one sweep.

old thread but i have a question..

i've noticed that sometimes even if you crank the car accessories(my alpine and defi gauges) don't go off and stays on..but usually they go off...and back on..

anybody knows why?
