This may be a stupid question.... but... my rev alert used to light up and give an audible alarm. Now it just lights up, with no audible alert. Is this just something stupid that i'm overlooking, or is it broken??

read the manual there is a procedure to make it light and be audible or just light up w/o noise. its not broken

Yep, all in the manual. You'll get a prompt saying "beep" followed by "on" or "off" selection.
