i popped a ring on my 03 block, so im going to do a brand new STi bottom end, ej20 heads.

the thing is im kinda on a budget, so i was going to do the 720cc injector mod, but i was wondering if an SAFC will control an injector of that high a flow rate? someone told me that SAFCs were only good til around 550cc, please let me know if anyone has sucessfully done it with 720cc+ injectors.

or what it be best to just go with STi pinks, and will an SAFC control those?

Well with the safc II you can go to +- 50% I guess it would depend on what MAF or whatnot you have. I have 550 cc injectors in my 2.2L and they are at -35%. I would guess that it wouldnt be the best idea.

BAD idea. The S-AFC fulls the car into thinking its getting less air past the MAF sensor, so it reduces the amount of fuel coming in. Thats good. But, by doing that, the timing increases at the same time, because the parts of your map that have less fuel have more timing.

Its like putting an aftermarket intake on your car. Imagine putting a bigMAF on your car and not tuning the timing... BOOM
