Hey everyone. I currently have an auto broker trying to find an '04 STi with approx 20k miles or less on it for me. He asked me how much im looking to spend and im not sure what to tell him. I've done kelly blue book and edmunds.com but still am unsure. I will be paying for the vehicle in full - it would be good to have an idea of what is a fair price for both himself as an auto broker, and a good price for me as a consumer trying to save some money by dodging big car dealerships.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

brb.. still researching..
Ok,
'04 Subaru Impreza WRX STi - 20,000 - 25,000 miles
Retail Pricing:
KBB - $28K
Edmunds - $25K+
eBayMotors - $25K+
AutoTrader - $25K+
Looks like you might be able to steal one for just shy of $25K, if your broker friend is willing to shave his profits down to the minimum. Ask for $23K and see if he can do it.
Good choice, and Good Luck!
Peace
Jason

Thanks a ton - yea i'll talk to him. He would be auctioning for it for probably under 20k to begin with, so hes going to make good money.
Thanks,

A lot of "ifs" determine price, not just mileage. How about exterior/interior condition? Has it been "modded"(if so, it might be abused)?, etc.
If it's in excellent, stock condition then I might consider buying it for 25k.

Yea i really just want a stock, un-modded excellent interior, wreck free, very little or no door dings STi.... BBS 17"s, dont care about the audio equipment, because i will swap all that out anyway.... I will aim for 25k and see whats going on.
