I've had this problem off and on since i've bought my car in January.

Its a 2001 2.5rs with 30k miles.

I had added the keyless entry because it didn't have it so I figured that was the problem. I pulled that out yesterday, pulled the negative, etc. It starts fine. Today I go out to start her up and she wont start.

So the keyless had nothing to do with it... It makes really bad sounds when I go to start it to. Buzzing type sounds inside the dash and the engine wont turn over at all, all the lights go dim as I turn the key. The parking lights came on and stayed on even with the key out

*** IS CAUSING THIS!?!?

By the way if I take the negative off the battery and put it back on the car will start up fine.

I have had the battery tested, they put load on it and said it was fine... could still be bad though I guess.

Check all the connections to the battery, and main grounds. The inside of the battery clamps as well as the posts should be cleaned up and any oxidation/deposits removed. All the grounds should be secure and clean.
If your parking lights are staying on with the key out check the switch on top of the steering column, it may be on by accident. This will drain the battery if left on.

I cleaned the battery terminals and connections and also the grounds off of the battery. Put diolectric grease on the terminals. The positive had a bunch of acid build up.

After that it started right up... So I guess I'll have to see if this fixed it for good.
