I just installed the keyless entry with alarm upgrade yesterday, but i got the cel 2 days ago. after car was sitting in shop for 2 months. autozone cleared them and the speed sensor ones came back immediately. i'll try driving it around for a while then go back and see which ones are still there. anyone ever heard of the speed sensor malfunction

Is your CEL flashing constantly?
Check the green plugs under the driver side dash, if they are plugged together that is the cause. Unplug them and let them hang.

They are the diagnostic mode connectors or something...I know I had to connect them while I installed my Accessport, but removed them right away.

Basically those connectors are supposed to be separate unless you are reprogramming your engine management computer or doing certain diagnostics.

Yep they are for an ECU diagnostic mode which you would never use, and they are also used to enable the Accessport to upload maps. They should never be left connected for normal driving.
