If you are under 3 years/36,000 miles, take it to the dealer...they are covered under warranty

They are definitely covered, you just have to be below whatever they consider the lowest thickness for the pads. It states it in the service manual, but I don't have mine handy.

Everything on the entire vehicle is covered 3/36, wear items, brakes, wipers, bulbs, etc. As long as it is not damaged due to abuse and/or modifications.

They do have to be below a certain % to be covered
