I recently did a vf34 swap, and found that after replacing the coolant (only really drained what I had to, not the entire system...) and bleeding the air coolant, (and refilling with green coolant, with some distilled water...) I noticed the two coolant lines to the (I think mainly the top one) turbo have sprayed coolant at one time or another (you can see evidence on heatshield etc)

I replaced with some real hose clamps instead of those chintzy little cheapo ones... and I dont know for a fact that its leaked since... but I was told the other day that subaru cooland conditioner is required... should I just completely drain the system and replace with some other coolant?

Any coolants better than others? Its not particularly hot here (never higher than 80 and never really lower than 40's)

ALso, if thats teh case, is there some sort of adapter I can fit up to bottom drain on the radiator so its not just dumping all over the damn place?

Thanks for all the advice in advance
I appreciate it.

No adapater unleass you ghetto rig something. As to the coolant question.....read the sticky at the top of the forum. I believe someone spent hours researching coolants and posted their findings.
