I brought my car down to the local chevy dealer and he pulled the codes on my car. I got 3 different CELs and one of them was P1544. The scan tool said that it was the "idle speed sensor". When i looked in the Subaru CEL thread, it said that a P1544 was "High exhaust temperature detected". Is this because i had them pulled at a chevy dealer? They pulled other codes from my car that were correct so i doubt that. Anyone know which of the two it is? Thanks a lot.

I would trust the code number, but the description on the chevy code reader is probably what P1544 means for a chevy.

Only codes below P0999 are 'supposed to' be the same definition for all different car makes.

....please list ALL the problem codes.....then we can go from there.....

....and as posted above, the codes over 999 are make specific.

P1544, P0420, P0244

I Know the 2nd one is from my turboback and the 3rd one is from my Greddy Profec B Spec 2 Boost controller. since I'm using an aftermarket wastegate. Is there a way to hook up the wiring so that I don't get this P0244 code?

....have you tried leaving the stock controller connected electrically, but disconnected to the turbo....ie....the hose plugged????

....and the P0420 code can be 'offed' with the 'mechanical fix' for a couple dollars...
