What are the advantages of these new bushings over the stock ones?

Less "play" with the steering wheel, quicker response, and they won't deteriorate like the stock rubber ones. when you have them on, you'll immediately feel the difference.

i have them for my 04 WRX and they are great! coupled with my sticky RE750 tires my car handles so incredibly quick.

On my 04 STi it seemed that there was a little bit of vagueness in the initial turn of the steering wheel. I switched the the Whitelines and that seems to be gone. It just makes the steering feel a little more crisp to me. Not as dramatic as the change to a SS for shifting response, and they are a bit of a PITA to install, but for the low price I think it was definately worth it. (Then again I had help with the install so I really can't complain).
