I will have the power steering fluid and the gear oil for the rear differential in tomorrow or tuesday. I'll do the tranny at some point (the gear oil in it is still pretty fresh). I can give you immediate results soon, but a long term review will be awhile in coming. I'm sure someone else will chime in soon ;).

Redline is one of if the most expensive lubricants you can buy. Absolutely no compromises. If you plan on taking your car to extremes, redline is the way to go. If not, mobil1 is more than adequate.

Yes, I'm running all redline stuff. 10w30 for the engine.
Redline oil has the lowest coefficient of friction of any motor oil. I've always heard a few percent hp increase when using redline, and I've seen dyno charts (I think on redline's website).

DID YOU NOTICE ANYTHING?
stupid caps.
hehe sorry
allso correct me if im wrong but wouldnt this allso extend hte life of the turbo? as the poil has better cooling properties?
I did a kendall 10w30 change for the first 3 oil changes then switched to redline 10w30, its good stuff. Im right around 3k on this redline oil change and see how it holds up to 5k.
Im also thinking of getting the redline fluids for the diff/trans after i got some more concrete feedback on it.

I'm running redline in the traddy & diff currently. I'm VERY seriously considering going to the engine oil as well in the WRX. RedLine is simply the best oil avaialable out there and it truly does make a huge difference.

About two weeks ago I had to put mobil 1 in, and I had it in for about 400 miles. I noticed no difference when I switched from redline 5w30 to mobil1 5w30, and no difference when I switched back from mobil 1 to redline 10w30. Even if the difference is, say three percent (doubt you can get three percent from any motor oil), that'd be like 7hp difference. I don't think I'd feel that.

I don't remember the numbers, but redline boils at a higher temperature than any other oil. So, yes, everything will last longer w/less wear w/redline.

Where can you get redline?

You can buy it directly from Redline or from one of their dealers.

[edit] Redline is simply the best in terms of film strength and resistance to high temperature breakdown. I used it for years in my Audi S4. It might be overkill for most applications but in a high reving turbocharged engine it makes great sense.
It probably will add a few hp and your engine may run just a bit cooler but nothing that you would be able to notice.

Any synthetic is better than any conventional oil, but Redline is definitely NOT the best synthetic. Look around on the web for comparison tests and you'll see that Redline is almost as good as Mobile 1, and a distant third place behind Amsoil. For the money, though, you can't beat Mobile 1. Pay attention to what weight oils are compared, some comparisons use different weight oils and that makes a huge difference when testing things like viscosity at high temperatures.
