I was filling up a a gas station and me best friend opened the door and "bang" hit it against a concrete structure. The dent is small - only 1 inch across and probably 1/8th to 1/16th of an inch deep. I intend to get it fixed at some point. Anyone have any idea how much it might run? I can fix the paint myself - just want the metal fixed.

Actually, for how small this dent it, how's a pop-a-dent kind of thing. This isn't a show car and frankly I'm not sure I have $500 laying around.

Talk to some locals and find a paintless dent removal business that is reputable. I'm guessing around $80-90 to take out the dent.

I paid $125 the first time for a nasty ding on my door made by a Ford Explorer...
Second time around an acorn fell on the front fender and put a dent. I went to a subaru meet where they were having a special at $75 per panel ( doesnt matter how many dents... as long as it doesnt look like a golf ball).
Either way they remove the dent completely. After it was finish i wasnt able to pin point where it was before. Its truly a work of art to get it liek that and I am amazed at what these people can do.
Without a doubt it was worth it. It got rid of the burning hate for the other who put that ding there and you're not reminded of it everytime you enter your car. Defintely look for a reputable guy though...
Best of luck to you

I have this dent in my passenger door, about the size of a golf ball, but it has a cut that goes through the middle to the sheet metal. I went to see how much it would be to repair, the guy said it would cost $750. I promptly left.
