Hey guys, we have been making some pretty big accomplishments here the past few weeks with some big names over in Japan. Recently we are in cooperation with a large wheel manufacturer to produce a Subaru Specific wheel for track/daily use. What we need is your opinion on sizing, specific offsets, colors and anything else you guys want to see in a wheel specifically designed for your Subaru! Right now, we are in the process of designing a wheel that ranges from 17x8 all the way up to 17x9.5. The offsets will vary depending on how wide the wheel is, also to go above 8.5" wide you would need to roll your fenders and run extreme amounts of camber. We need to know which sizing you guys prefer and what would be most practical to make for the Subaru owner/driver. Here are the different sizes that we are choosing from:

17x8
17x8.5
17x9
17x9.5

What we need from you guys, is which width would you guys prefer most? Also if you guys have any offset suggestions, just remember the higher the offset, the less clearance for big brakes, but the lower the offset, the more rubbing issues. Lastly, we need to know what colors you guys are interested in. We know that gold is probably the most popular choice for wheels on Subaru's, but we want to know what else you guys want to see. Remember, this wheel is only going to be produced in a 17" size for track/daily use. The wheel will be EXTREMELY lightweight, and very durable. The wheel will be produced in the 5x100 bolt pattern, as well as the 5x114.3 for all you 05+ STi guys out there. Please let us know what you think about this. Thanks from everyone here at W1.

I want 17x9 and 17x9.5 YOu dont need to roll fenders with a 17x9. I am currently running 17x9 et53 up front. No fender rolling what so ever. Colors, the usual, gold, white, bronze, and silver.

17x8 in gold, bronze, gunmetal. With a +42 to +44 offset. Simple clean design, strong, light, and durable. And what most people are forgetting about...AFFORDABLE please.

17x8 or 17x8.5....Gold, Bronze, Gunmetal. I agree keep it affordable.

There are tons of 17x8s and a few 17x8.5s but there are nearly no 17x9s. I'd be interested in 17x9s or 17x8.5s assuming cost, quality and weight fall within respectable areas. Color is not a concern for a track wheel IMHO.

This is all great information guys!!! Keep up the great work. The wheels will be made in the highest quality while keeping the cost as low as possible. We just need to get a good idea of what you guys want!!!

Thanks,

A wheel that has a offset that is closer to stock, like +50/+53 for us wagon owners. Therefore 17x7.5 to a possibly 18x8 will fit better w/ wider tires and no rubbing ;) Just an idea.
