I've been looking at single-DIN MP3 capable stereos to replace the stock stereo. www.crutchfield.com has a very nice side-by-side comparision feature, but I'd love to see how to stock stereo compared to these aftermarket units. All the specs for the stock stereo (Power output, frequency response, fm sensitivity, etc)

Personally, while the stock stereo is fine, I don't trust the changer - it's mechanical, and I can just see it jamming. I'd rather a single-CD unit that can read MP3s on a CDR, and can control an external changer if I want changer capability.

Besides, gives me a free DIN for gauges, and maybe a clock seperate of the stock one, allowing me to use THAT gauge pack, too. ;-)
