Anyone know where I can find a list of CEL codes for a 1995 Legacy? I need to go to an Autozone to have a code pulled and I figured I might as well be able to see what the problem was right away and get any needed parts.
TIA!

Unless that 95 happens to be OBDII Autozone won't be able to scan it. If it's OBDI you can pull the code yourself, follow the info here-
http://www.troublecodes.net/Subaru/
List of codes there as well. BTW this link can be found right here, under the "FAQ/Threads of Note" up top in this forum.
Also note that a code doesn't automatically point to a bad part, it gives you an idea where to look and begin troubleshooting.

Thanks for the info. Yes its OBDII (Subaru converted early I guess).

Ok, it's still possible that Autozone won't be able to read it. Some of the early (pre-96)OBDII cars were not fully compliant with the standard as it wasn't required to be implemented until 96. But you should certainly try.

My '95 Legacy wagon is fully compliant with OBD-II. Trouble codes lower than P1000 have standardized meanings, so the description of those DTCs provided by the scan tool is accurate. In the unlikely event you pull a DTC that is P1000 or higher, then consult a list of Subaru-specific trouble code descriptions, like the one at http://www.powerstation.org.uk/faultcodes.pdf.
