also how hard is it to remove the stock one and install one these?

Ditto, if you can provide pics of the knob installed on a 5spd WRX/RS I would be interested as well. My main concern is regarding how the shifter boot sits because there is no boot attachment. However, it may sit just fine and flush anyway...

May be wrong, but if you look at the picture of the one for the 5speed, it has a little section on it that might hold the shiftboot up. kind of like the stock one
