I've got some gas stains on my silver WRX, from when my tank overflowed. I promptly went home and washed and waxed And I thought I took care of them, but today in the sunlight I can still see the marks. Has anyone ever done this and has found a solution.
I'm going to try clay, and paint cleaner, and polish and try waxing again.
I'm hoping I wont have to bust out the 4000 grit sandpaper and buffer. Because everyone knows the paint is microns thin.

Keep that sandpaper far far far away!! try the clay...if it works remember to pump your own gas and wait till the last drip comes off. if you are anal like me put your hand under the nozzle when taking it out. ide rather get smelly then get sh** on my car

detail clay and spray...
makes your paint like glass...
removes all solvents from the paint...
good luck!

you washed and waxed? you probably shouldn't have waxed. now your stain is under a layer of wax so it will be alot harder to get it out. wash then clay
