Nick,

Absolutely... You gain several things in an engine block by cryogenically processing it and other related components. First and foremost you have a crystalline grain structure change to a finer, more dense matrix throughout the entire piece. This gives you greater wear resistance and dimensional stability which aids in both eccentric wear (pistons wear the bore ovid-shape) and cylinder seal. This in turn reduces frictional losses for greater power production. Additionally cryo-processing stress-relieves the material which prevents stress risers that cause fracturing and unwanted harmonics.

Cryo-treatment is NOT a band-aid however for poor component selection, while it will undoubtedly strengthen and give greater lifespan to marginal components, it is not designed to make a part never made for a particular application bulletproof. If you are turbocharging a high compression engine it will help your components live a longer life but it does not take the place of forged/dished pistons designed for use with forced induction. I have one question to ask. (actually 2-3 of them ;) )

If you already have some internals coated like valves, pistons and bearings will there be a problem to cryo treat them?

Will this combination result in something even better or its just not needed to do both of them?

Boring the cylinder walls I guess should be done before cryo treatment?

Sorry for the many questions but I am preparing a new short block and I am looking for all possibilities!
