This is where I got my 2001 RS. All I have to say is that these people, especially Scott (my salesman) were very professional. Not once did anyone try to "force" me into buying a car. They simply let me wander around at my own pace, ask questions as I needed to and test drive whatever I wanted ... without hassling me.

This dealership and their ethics are one of the reaons why I got my RS over the Celica GT-S.

Not to mention .. they have tons of WRX's sitting in the lot right now, hehehe.

This is not a complaint about the sales side, but the service department. Sales is actually very nice, and the Sales Manager Ron Midiri used to be the manager at Otto's BMW where I work.

anyways, here's what happened to me:

I go to get my WRX looked at because the suspension is making a rattling noise when i turn the wheel. i bring it in, they say, "we can't do warranty work on it because you have aftermarket springs on the struts." i say "no problem. just tell me what's wrong and I'll fix it myself." they say ok. they are toying around with it, and actually snap the top nut off the strut!!! then they say it's my fault and they won't pay for it. blah blah blah. fine, i argue, nothing goes my way, fine. i order my kyb/agx struts instead from TRi, and simply ask the dealer to change my oil and leave everything else alone.

so, i come back a couple days later to take my car to another shop to install my kyb's. when i get there, my front driver's side wheel, the one with the bad strut, is parked in a 3" deep rut. there are these big fan shaped leaves, about 3 of them (and they are huge, maybe a foot and a half across!) laying on my hood!!!! ***??? and...and...there are chunks of mud, dirt and rocks scattered all over the exterior of my car! i nearly had heart failure.

so...i send a very nice and polite email to Ron Midiri and tell him exactly what i found, and hope none of his other customers ever come in to find their cars that way. he calls me back about 30 seconds later, apologized a million times (cuz he's a really nice guy like that) and told me that next time I bring my car in, that he would have the detail shop fully detail my car. that made me happy, and hopefully something was done to remedy the problem.

I got my 01 RS from Matt Slap as well. At first they wouldn't budge on the sticker price witch was ridiculosuly high for an 01 with 30K miles on it. But after a month of checking back in on them they finally gave it to me at the price I wanted. I guess I got lucky. I dealt with Tom Lilly and Z they were very nice people and Z even offered us lunch which was very nice thing to do. The finance guy got really pissed when I declined the extended warranty he wanted to add to my monthly payments. He got a real attitude which I didn't appreciate. I understand he's trying to make as much money as possible but if a customer declines a certain item don't be a tool about it.

Overall I would reccomend them but if you are inexperienced with car buying be careful.

i bought my wrx from Chuck. he was a great sales person. I went to buy a used 02 wrx but they sold it and he made it possible for me to buy a brand new one at a very good price. I will definitly buy from them again.

yea, sales is good, service sucks... they stole my brothers radio from his sti, they paid for it, but thats still bs for the hassle... then they replaced the clutch and didnt adjust it right or something, it never fully engaged and burnt up... then he had it in for a broken axle and 24 hours later the motor blows up from (according to them) only having 1qt of oil, despite the lack of an oil light or high temp or bad pressure..... warranty denied for "neglect" or w/e they call not checking your fluids etc... once i go get my tags and bumper cover for my 05 wrx i'll never go back there...
