View Full Version : 18X7.5 with 225/40/18?? rlhaddock 08-05-2005, 04:59 PM I was told from a certain tire company that the suggested tire size for a wheel that is 18X7.5 is 215/40/18. My question is, will a 225/40/18 be too wide? Will any problems arise from this set up? My understanding is that combo is the the closest to maintaining the stock wheel/tire size. I don't have any rubbing problems, plus still have alot of room left in the fender well.
