i only ordered a boost guage from them, but they got it to me very quickly.. and since it was drop shipped, they took the time to send me some stickers separately in the mail. They turned out to be pretty cool.. so i put one on my car.. it takes the honor of being the only sticker on there. Anyway.. i had a good experience with these guys.

Yes, these guys are great to deal with. I ordered my Kartboy shifter from them, received it promptly, and now my scooby is even funner to drive!

Yeah I ordered an entire C-west body kit from them. They got it to me asap. They were very helpful. My only gripe is that they NEVER, EVER, EVER answer the phone at the office. And they return calls ever LESS often! I leave messages all the time and have only got one or two calls back!

Got them today from B-Spec, right on time. Everything as promised, and now my car is even funner to drive.

They've returned all my emails, and sent the unit out on the day they said they would.

Can't ask for any more from a vendor!

Due to the brillant recommendation of that someone special on a seperate Forum/Thread/Page/whatever.....I am able to deliver this to you today...

I have had a bad experience with B-Spec for the following reasons...

1) The lack of knowledge of products they push
2) Any replies to messages are neglected and next to never
3) The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing...
Example: one person says one thing and another person says
another thing. They do not communicate on the B.S. they are
feeding their customers.
4) They have no interest in you or what you're trying to achieve.
They only talk about their cars and what they've done, and
what they want to achieve.
5) They take your money immediately, after selling you a product
they say is in stock, you call them back for a tracking # on the
product they supposedly shipped, turns out, they never had it
to begin with.
6) After waiting, you decide you want to cancel. You call them to
do so and miraculously your part appears. Determined that
you don't want to deal with this and stress that you want your
money back, you're told "no" "We don't like to refund but we
will give you credit towards another product". (And I'm not
talking about a couple hundred dollars, it's much more than
that) I also did not appreciate the fact that they blamed all of this confusion on the 9/11 attack. My parts were ordered months before the attack.

The aggravation and headache I received with this so called "vendor" was so not worth it. I have yet to receive any products nor has my credit card been refunded. They were very quick to take the money but neglected to stand by their word or product. I wish there was a way that I could notify the distributers of this vendors behavior, because I highly doubt they would want to continue business with them either. Oh yeah, thanks for your time and patience that I'm sure it took to read this book.

This isn't the first I've heard of this type of complaint with B-Spec. I actually saw them not too long ago. Seemed like nice people, but I'm sure it was just a show. I've been warned not to do business with them as they are, like you said, quick to take your cash and reluctant to give any service. That truley is sad.

In their defence I would have to say I had a flawless transaction with them. I mailed about the part (kartboy shifter + bushings) they mailed back with my questions answered, shipping costs to Canada and whatnot and I had the shifter + bushings a couple of days later. Vickey was more than helpful and pleasant with her mails. Perhaps things are different with rarer items?

Recommended.

Dozer: I have read your post, but do not recognize your name. I also do not recognize the bad service scenario you describe, and it certainly does not portray our attitude or service. I cannot recall ever saying to anyone that we do not give refunds; that is simply not the way we do business. As far as collecting the money up front, it is my experience that this is standard business practice for all vendors on this board. If I am incorrect, I'm sure the vendors will come forward and educate me.

Your post indicates to me that you have not actually done any business with us, but are posting a mean-spirited response for some other reason.

If you actually have purchased something from us, and really had all that happen, and as you suggest, we don't know what we are selling or doing, then identify yourself. If we have not served you well, then we will apologize, but we need to know who you are. Posting these types of nasty remarks is simply non-productive when no one knows who you are. I am Vickey, B-Spec USA

Lastly, I wish to state that neither Byron nor myself, nor any other vendor has used the 9/11 disaster as an excuse for anything. To the contrary, in our private lives, we are Red Cross volunteers and have urged members of the i-Club to join us in our effort to raise money to help the Relief Fund.

You may e-mail us if you wish, remind us of what our dealings with you were, and we will try to resolve if you feel we have not fulfilled our obligation as a vendor to you.

My name is not important and my heart does not bleed for the response you gave. You can say what you want but my experience was true and to the point. I know that, which will keep me from continuing any further business with you. I try to warn people but they can learn for themselves. Most people appreciate your business so don't let a little bash forum ruin your party. I understand that vendors receive your money before you receive their product but most vendors also send you the product when stated. I do not have to go back and forth and pin point all of your faults. This forum was meant for good and bad opinions and if it's something you're not willing to deal with, move to another. I know your name and I'm familur with Byron, an introduction is not needed. A little experience and/or knowledge was all I was asking for. Don't feed me something you've read off the latest edition of Sport Compact. Even those quotes appeared to be inaccurate. Anyway, I won't go back and forth, I did that enough already. Thanks for your response, and I'm not surprised it took this long for one.

I have stood back an watched this post, Honestly if fairly crap. If you have a problem with a vendor anyone for that matter maybe you should talk to them before you go completely bad bad mouthing. Their is usually reasonable explanaton why to they are having difficulties.

Being that alot of these vendors make their living off of fellow I-Clubbers they go above and beyond to please.

The fact that you remain unclosed shows the character you are.

Ease up... Newbie

Wow,:( thanks for that post. That really sucks, it took a long time reading but was definitely worth the read. Now I know what vendor not to buy from.

Yeah... I know their prices are sometimes higher than others.

What type of character it shows is that if he man enough to complain, he's man enough to let them know who and what transaction was made that was unsatisfactory. My specialist title is crap, but when you simply aim to hurt someone living... what since does it make.

Also i do feel your pain about asking to be paid for something they yet to have in stock... Personally it isn't right to do so... You obviously felt the same way by going somewher else to get the product.

Newbie, Specialist or Guru... or nothing... I have done business with many different Vendors around this board and I have had atleast one complicaton will all besides a few. Go figure..

Out of hundreds of orders their is always the room for possible error. Just life..

As for dennischi, wrxken & kastle....Thank you very much for the info. It was nice to get some intelligent support/conversation out of someone. I feel very bad for Dan. He makes my problem seem like nothing. Never the less, it's still a problem and I hope B-Spec loses a lot of business due to this. They are not deserving and take advantage of people greatly. My post does not need to prove that....Dan's does enough for everyone. Thank you again for your support.

Well, Dad, with all do respect I think everything that came out of the "others" mouth was insulting and degrading and I think his posts should be earsed as well. My post simply stated obvious facts and it was deleted from this forum. That to me, is also insulting! This forum is for you to speak your mind and when you do, you are booted off. I stuck to my point with every comment I wrote here and I continued to get bashed by this child. Frankly, if this is the way i-club works I am no longer interested in this either. I was very clear with all of my posts that B-Spec was a horrible and dishonest place to do business with and I delt with idiocy remarks that came my way. Instead of you backing me, you earse me while leaving behind the forum that made of no sense what-so-ever.

You posted your opinion/view/experience, and BSpec rebutted it in a civilized manner, and also made an offer to work with you, which I assume you turned down. I don't blame anyone specifically for the thread getting out of hand- I took care of the problem posts to the best of my ability while salvaging as much pertinent feedback as I could. I removed what I felt was degrading, insulting, borderline, and childish (besides the drunk dad comment... that was funny :D). There is only one post left in this thread which I consider borderline, and you are entitled to feel that what I deleted was over the top or not enough- that is your perogative. I'm entitled to not care, and honestly don't. Moderators aggravate people all day long because we keep people from getting away with murder, so I expect to annoy at least one person a day... you were the person today it seems. Life goes on. Nobody is going to boot you off for speaking your mind, but please remember there are rules you agreed to when you registered- rules people like me enforce. Every person on this board is a guest in Nick and Alex's house, and if people don't retain that respect on their own well, we shove it down their throats :). Makes me/us unpopular at times, but I didn't come here to make friends, though I value the ones I have made and their opinions, even if I don't agree with them (for instance, kastle is usually a bit more reserved that "choke on this" when making his points). However, for the time being until some "issues" are resolved, I am putting this thread to bed without supper- everyone's points have been made.
