So the UTEC must go. I have everything you need for it, and I will deliver it up to an hour or so away. I live in Shrewsbury, MA and I'll throw it up for $650 for starters. It comes with the map selector too.

How many maps do you need?

If you only want a couple maps you can build a Remote map switch with Map0,1,2 for ~$3.

Chris aka wrxfactor, I would appreciate the $60 refund you promised me over a year ago. I have tried contacting you in private so this would not have to be made public but you will not respond back to my messages. I see that you are now posting messages again so I know your out there, you just don't want to respond to my PM's or E-mail's or Phone messages.

We agreed upon the $60 because you sent me a Rev 5a UTEC when this was being clearly advertised as a Rev 6b UTEC.

bump for wrxfactor - I see you posted 6 times so far without responding to this.

Here is the last time wrxfactor responded to me. I never did recieve the check he promised. This is from 9-15-05. I tried contacting him on and off for the past year via PM's, E-mails, and Phone with no response. He disapeared from nasioc for a while after this happened and I had basically given up until I noticed that he started using nasioc again. I know I should've reported this sooner but Chris seemed like a good guy and I wanted to take care of this privately. Can one of the super mods (Fishguy, Subie Gal or North Ursalia) move this to the scamer central section in the classifieds?

Hey Chris,
Just wondering if you sent the refund yet? I hooked up the UTEC today and flashed it to the newest firmware revision. It appears to be working correctly which is good. It was missing a standoff and the Y piece for the ABC but other than that all was fine. Anyways let me know whats happening.

I believe you honestly didn't know and took the other sellers word. The reason I wanted the 6b was that it works on 02-05 WRX's. The 5a works on 02&03's. I think $60 refund would be fair. Let me know if you think that is reasonable.

Just wanted to let you know I recieved the package today. Everything appears to be in good condition, however there is 1 problem. The UTEC is rev 5a, not rev 6b like your for sale post claimed. Do you think we can work something out?

Tell me what you think would be appropriate. I had no clue it was 5a, as the previous owner told me it was a 6b and I never put the UTEC to use in my car. I'm sure we can work something out that will be fair for both of us.
