Recently, I've been having some weird issues with my 2004 STI with DCCD in auto (where it is 99% of the time). I noticed recently that inthe morning when the engine and tranny is still cold, turning from a stop (doesn't matter if I am turning left or right), my car bucks and clunks. I did a search, and some possible causes are wheel bearings, cv, axle... but in my case, once the motor is warm (5-8 mins of normal driving), the problem goes away. It "feels" like the front diff is locked and not allowing theoutside wheel to spin faster. The steering is still neutral, the car doesn't pull to the left or right.

When the car isn't in a turn, it seems to be okay.

Car has about 18K miles, have not done a tranny/diff fluid change. Last time I check the tranny fluid level, it was right, but I haven't checked it in about 3 months.

Any ideas?
